Connecting with professionals in your field is important. Having regular conversations not only keeps you top of mind with your peers, but it provides ample opportunity to stay on top of trends in complementary spaces. As HR professionals, we’re often caught in the “department of one” syndrome, so having people who are in tune with everything we do is critical to staying on top of everything. Consider CRHRA, CRRN, or your local Chamber for some of the larger HR contingents as a starting place to meet some new HR colleagues. And, as always, we are here to help.
