Alaant Workforce Solutions Launches Virtual Career Counseling Series to Assist Job Seekers Impacted by COVID-19 Pandemic

‘Powering Your Career Search During COVID-19’ kicks off May 14, offers free resources to candidates navigating uncertain job market, from new college graduates to senior professionals

Albany, NY Alaant Workforce Solutions, the leading professional workforce services firm in New York’s Capital Region, today announced the launch of a virtual career counseling series to assist individuals seeking job opportunities in a labor market upended by coronavirus. The first event in the new monthly series, “Powering Your Career Search During COVID-19,” will be held Thursday, May 14 via Zoom, and is free and open to the public.

The virtual event will include two 45-minute sessions. The first, at 10 a.m., is aimed at upcoming college graduates and entry-level job seekers; the second, at 11 a.m., is focused on mid-level and senior professionals, including those who have lost jobs due to the pandemic. Each session features a panel discussion with Alaant’s career and recruiting experts, who will discuss changes in the job market resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, including new hiring processes and protocols; offer advice on preparing for a job search; and share best practices and insider’s tips for pursuing a new or advanced career opportunity.

Participants will have a chance to ask questions, and to schedule a complimentary one-on-one virtual meeting with an Alaant career advisor as a follow up to the event.
