My superpower is my ability to problem-solve and multitask.
Each day I wake up and prepare for my full-time career as a fraud investigator, business owner, and mother. All of these responsibilities have given me past and real-time experience in problem-solving and multitasking. What drives me to run my business every day is the autonomy and independence of being a business owner. It gives me joy to be able to provide employment for others, especially in these trying times. As well as creating a legacy for the future of my children.
To run a business, alongside my career I have to sacrifice early mornings, late nights, and weekends. It’s no easy feat. It takes rigorous planning and organization of my daily scheduling. I rely on frequently maintaining and updating a schedule on my calendar, reminders, and a to-do list. The process of maintaining organization while running a business is crucial to the success of the business and client satisfaction.
Problem-solving has also been a gained skill of mine. I know my businesses success relies on being able to provide great customer/client service. Part of my long days consist of being able to manage all of my client’s accounts with the help I receive from my employees. To ensure we have the time to communicate with clients. Once a month, I make a point to complete a walkthrough/audit of each client’s account to make sure myself and my team are providing the highest quality of service. Although my days and nights are busy, I pride myself on being able to provide a great, high-quality service for each account. (In all honesty, I enjoy what I do). To know that we are growing not only in business but as a team makes it all worthwhile.
