Alaant’s, Tom Schin shares why a Talent Acquisition Partnership can be a smart solution for recruiting specialized roles in this challenging hiring market.
Eight in 10 job candidates (80%), both active and passive seekers, foresee working for a new company in the next 12 months—despite, or possibly due to, the economic uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic in the U.S.—according to the 2020 Candidate Sentiment Study by ASA and its corporate research partner, ClearlyRated. The data from the survey, among other results, reveal a sense of optimism about employment and job-related opportunities as the nation continues to fight Covid-19.
The biggest challenge facing companies these days is finding and hiring great employees. So why aren’t they considering one of the fastest-growing talent pools available? Most employers tell us when it comes to filling job openings, they’re generally not recruiting recent college graduates. But should they be? In a tight job market, it’s certainly something to consider. Here are the pros and cons to weigh in making that decision.
Are your organization’s interview processes inclusive and equitable? Or, are there more opportunities to counter bias in your interviews and welcome in candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experiences?...
Q: Do you highlight your culture in your recruitment efforts?
Yes – 70% & No – 30%
If you’re not changing up your recruiting game by including culture as part of your ‘hook,’ now’s the time. 70%+ of employees who are entering the market, are leaving their prior organization BECAUSE of the lack of strong culture. Use yours as a selling point. Need help with how? The experts at Alaant are here to guide you through it. Reach out to us today! In the meantime, check out this helpful whitepaper, here.
